Summer season here we go...
The summer season is underway with less than 2 weeks till the passeportes du soliel mtb event, with Morzine being the host village this year. With 3500 mtb riders taking part in this celebration of the start of the summer season in the Portes du Soleil.
With 7 resorts acting as starting points you will find the best trails in the Portes du soliel area, plus there are 8 pit stops along the way to refuel with the local produce and specialities from each village. The 3 circuits all take advantage of the lifts The route only takes one day, and whether you ride it on Saturday or Sunday is up to you.
The weather has been fantastic the last week lots of bright blue sky and the trails are looking good with new trails for this summer season, a new bike park at the foot of the Pleney, a new green track from the top of the Pleney cable car into Morzine and a new link from Morzine to the Chavannes lift in Les Gets. Les Gets is getting a new trail under the Naunchet chair.
